Slippery Elm Recipe: Put 1 teaspoon of Slippery Elm Bark Powder in 1/2 cup of hot or boiling water. Stir and allow to cool. It will get very thick. You can store this in your refrigerator for a few days and give it in the food or directly in your pet’s mouth. For cats and dogs give 1/4 tsp per 10-15 lbs of body weight 2-3 times a day. You can double the dose in severe cases.
