Holistic Pet Tip—Canned pumpkin is a great addition to your pet’s diet to help with diarrhea and constipation.

Dogs and cats can both benefit from adding pumpkin to their diets. It is a good source of soluble and insoluble fiber, which can help with diarrhea, colitis, anal sac disease and constipation. It is also very nutritious and high in antioxidants, beta-carotene and vitamin A.

Dose is 1 tsp-1 TBS twice a day for cats, 1-4 TBS twice a day for dogs.
