Puppy Breath

Puppy bad breath can be caused by inflammation of the gums during teething. Up to 6 months of age, puppy teeth fall out and the adult teeth push through and come in. During this time, your puppy will chew incessantly trying to ease the pain and help the teeth fall out. This constant chewing can inflame the gums some and bacteria sets in causing bad breath.

It is important that your puppy has lots of things to chew during this time, especially animal protein-based chews such as bully sticks and turkey tendons.

To help with the bad breath and keep the inflammation down, I recommend my Pet Dental Spray. It is made with safe, natural, effective ingredients such as colloidal silver and grapefruit seed extract.

You can use 1-2 sprays on each side of the mouth once or twice a day.
